💛
Once again, our two photos were awarded in the ISPWP Wedding Photography Contest. Actually three, because one of them is a two images placed side-by-side, in the newly created “Multi-Image” category. The portraits of Ewelina and Damian took by Jolanta win 5th Place! The Maciej‘s shot win 12th Place in the “Wedding Party” category.
This is an important award for us, especially because we have been appreciated again among hundreds of international professional wedding photographers and thousands of submitted photos.
We are happy to share the results of the last ISPWP Photo Contest.
Jolanta’s photo was awarded the 8th Place in the category “Bride Portrait on Wedding Day”!

We have very fond memories of this photoshoot with Ewa and Patryk on the dunes in Łeba.

Since we went to Lisbon for the first time, we’ve been dreaming to come back here again. We also dreamed of making an engagement or wedding photoshoot here. Exactly a year ago, Asia and Paweł got married and we had a great pleasure to capture This Day*. We have already knew that they are just perfect for the session in Portugal. It paid off to listen to the voice of intuition.
Cabo da Roca, the place that charmed us completely, is a rocky cape over the Atlantic Ocean, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Here we felt the strength and beauty of the elements. Waves hit the rocks with impetus. The wind was raging in all directions and no hairstyle had a chance. The walk down to Praia da Ursa (Bear Beach) took us some time but each step was worth the effort. We reached one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever been to. We wanted to shout to the Sun to set slower! We wanted to ask Time to stop over! There was also a bit of a crazy time, because of the ocean waves Asia’s hairstyle has changed the look completely, her makeup fortunately survived and a moment later at a frantic pace Asia and Paweł were changing into their wedding outfits (these pics in the next post).
We spent several days in Lisbon, we photographed after sunrise, afternoon and dusk. This city is so charming and impresssive at all times. You can simply fall in love with it and even get addicted – just as much as in delicious cupcake puddings “pastéis de nata”.
Enjoy watching!
Arkadia Park is supposedly the perfect place for a romantic photoshoot. Although we have heard about this venue a long time ago we came there for the first time. Why? Because we were waiting for the right Couple and the right moment.
Some say winter’s the most wonderful time of the year and winter wedding can be even more magical then in summer time.
Zakopane is a perfect base for a winter wedding. Kasia & John came especialy from Irland to get married here at the beginning of December, to feel the vibe and to enjoy the snow, as it seems to become a rare atmospheric phenomenon at the beginning of December in Poland.
Zakopane is a centre of ‘Góral’ culture and is also informally named as the ‘winter capital of Poland’. Zakopane is especially popular during Christmas holidays, which are celebrated in traditional style, with decorated horse-pulled sleighs called ‘kulig’ and delicious food. As for the food – don’t forget to get the famous smoked sheep cheese called Oscypek ;)
Kasia & John have chosen a perfect venue for their wedding – ARIES Hotel & SPA, a luxury hotel located in the heart of the city, which is just off Krupówki Street.
Kasia turned out to be a non traditional bride and she chose a pink wedding dress. Such colorful dress stood out even better in a snowy scene. After getting ready at the hotel the Couple and their guests went to the traditional and cosy venue Bąkowa Zohylina-Niznio, where the wedding ceremony took place. Hot drinks on arrival was a nice and simple idea. The ceremony was so special and emotionable time, in front of an open fire.
After the ceremony and wishes we moved again to the ARIES hotel for a polish traditional bread and salt greeting and drinks reception, then over to the HALKA restaurant for the meal, speeches and evening reception. Some dancefloor antics soon followed. This was one of those weddings we just didn’t want to end!
Take a look through the images below. Enjoy!
